✹ FIRST IMPRESSIONS
✹ NAME & BIRTH: Akira Kurusu, 18, September, Virgo. Try to keep a straight face for that one.
✹ VISUAL: Akira stands at about 175 cm, or about 5'9". He is built athletically but not bulky; he's made more for speed than strength, though he does have a nice, broad set of shoulders. His hair is black, and a little frizzy/curly, but in that way that almost looks like he spends a lot of time making his hair looking like he just rolled out of bed. His eyes are a dark gray, almost black. There aren't really any other notable physical changes to note for now, but he might be getting some... piercings soon. Stay tuned.
✹ FASHION: Dark colors, in general. Casual wear tends to be a dark-colored t-shirt and jeans, but he'll wear anything from hoodies to turtlenecks. Especially turtlenecks, he has a thing for them. He's bought a nice three-piece suit since he's been here. To his own credit, he even wears it properly, with the buttons done up and everything.
✹ DEMEANOR: To some people, especially Japanese individuals, his body language comes across as surprisingly like a sullen punk. He stands partially hunched, he keeps his hands in his pockets, even when talking to people older than him (which is one of those 'more a punk thing in Japan than the west' things). He crosses his arms and keeps a straight face. And he manspreads when he sits, like who does that.
✹ AURAL: English and... I will get back to you once there's a decent grouping of Japanese. He's voiced by Fukuyama Jun. It's not terribly different between the two, he probably has the deepest voice of all the voiced Persona protags. It comes across like a cocky bastard, and not too much like he's as young as he is.
✹ OLFACTORY: Akira generally smells clean, with a distinct scent of coffee. This has carried over from the days of living in Leblanc, because he does so much with coffee on the Station.
✹ HANDWRITING: GLHF reading what he writes. He writes like the kind of guy he is - casual teenage guy. That is to say: Messy chickenscratch that he pays no attention to.
✹ MENTAL INFORMATION: Personas. Just. Personas.

Triggers: Nothing to the point of shaking and crying, but he is a bit touchy when people try to hurt his friends. He's one of those "you are friends now! Akira will now die for you" kinds of friends.
Medical info: He has been noted to have a generic build and body type, which made him great for medical experimentation. Otherwise, he's healthy, hale, and sound.

✹ OTHER PERMISSIONS

✹ FIRST THING: He is currently 18! He was 17 upon apping, and now he's 18, but that may be too young still for some people. I try to look over preferences before I go after smut CR with anyone. I don't assume any CR is going to turn sexual off the bat, even if Akira starts flirting, but if you'd rather not even have gen CR, feel free to let me know, or even just ignore the tag.
✹ SECOND THING: His canon deals with some pretty heavy stuff. Rape, murder, and suicide, to name a few. He doesn't really discuss it much with characters unless they ask, but if you'd rather it never come up at all, let me know.
✹ THIRD THING: I more or less run under the idea all romance routes as canon unless one of his romantic Confidants were to app in and say they didn't want to. Yes, this includes Kawakami, Tae, Ichiko, and Chihaya. To this end, he is purposefully cagey about his experience or how many sexual partners he's had to this point, but will say he wasn't a virgin before he got here. If you're a castmate and I don't hit you up about what route you're more comfortable with assuming is canon, let me know! And if your character asks, but doesn't get a really concrete answer on anything, this is why. If you have any other questions about this, lemme know!
